Taking into consideration increase life expectancy including in emerging countries,
Assured that high qualification of doctors dedicated to surgical operations conducted by medical robots is primordial,
Concerned about expensive costs of equipments linked with this technology,
Confident about medical breakthrough linked with robotics,
Recalling that we can use medical robots in case of therapeutic application,
Confident that these surgeries are non-intrusive, decreasing operating traumas,
Assured by pre operative comfort conferred by the medical robots,
Commending vision progresses that bring medical robots through surgeries,
Commending also the precise manipulation of medical tools by medical robots,
Referring to “Reuters”, a third of surgical operations in USA by 2021 will be conducted by medical robots,
Concerned about the ethic aspect in this issue,
1. Recommends to prioritize the budget related to global health in some regions of the world in need;
2. Appeals leader firms in this sector to collaborate with public institutions in order to spread these technologies;
3. Proposes the establishment of a platform collaborating with WHO research centers specialized in medicinal robotics;
4. Invites global research centers to promote competitiveness poles in order to accelerate innovation;
5. Proposes the establishment of an investment fund to minimize costs related to these technologies;
6. Proposes to introduce strict regulations concerned qualification to practice robotized surgeries;
7. Expresses it readiness to raise awareness of the population concerned the ethic aspect of this practice through medias, education etc.
