Problematic : ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (bionics, home automation, drone ...) to the onslaught of the real economy.
- Emphasizing that tech businesses are at the heart of the UK economy and are playing an important role in driving growth across the country.
- Realizing that UK GDP would be 10% higher in 2030 as a result of artificial intelligence.
- Confident that with AI, computers can analyse and learn from information at higher accuracy and speed than humans can.
- Having received that it has been estimated that AI could add an additional USD $814 billion (£630bn) to the UK economy by 2035, increasing the annual growth rate of GVA from 2.5 to 3.9%.
- Declaring that our vision is for the UK to become the best place in the world for businesses developing and deploying AI to start, grow and thrive, and to realise all the benefits the technology offers.
-Considering that Skilled experts are needed to develop AI, and they are in short supply
1. Encourages the development of an enabling environment for existing and new businesses to innovate and make the most of the product, productivity and wage benefits that this tech can bring.
2.Requests a responsible AI report in each business to make sure that AI systems are adobted responsibly and that every part of society can reap the benefits.
3. Declares that UK will host a conference later this year to encourage cross-Channel investment, targeting work on AI in particular.
4. Calls upon 200 more PhD places in AI at leading UK universities, attracting candidates from diverse backgrounds and from around the world.
5. Invites a Market research to develop conversion courses in AI that meet employers’ needs
