Topic: The bionic man
The ECOSOC Committee,
Fully aware of the positive effect bionic development could exert on disabled, who represent 7,5% of mexican population and injured people,
Acknowledging the great amount of money required for investigating and technological research in which Mexico currently invest 1% of their GDP,
Realising its possible repercussion on future generations, for example by rising life expectancy which does not exceed the 78 years in my country,
Declaring that its social and scientific benefits overtake moral doubts and religions believes,
Suggests the creation of international labs that investigate and develop bionic prototypes;
Calls all countries to invest equally a 5% of their GDP in this project;
Reminds all countries that the advance in this field would me for the common good and wouldn’t be use for the benefit of any country;
Confirms that any of the subjects of the research would be battered either animals or human;
Proclaims that any human subject of the research would be paid in order to ensure their total voluntariness and agreement with the process;
Emphasizes that as both the laboratories and the crew, engineers, scientist, doctors have been paid with public funds, the advancements would be provided to citizens freely;
